A Chartered Accountant (CA) with additional qualifications from CFA Institute, he honed his expertise in corporate finance, investment banking, and deal structuring. Scaling Heights in Investment Banking

Before transitioning to venture capital, Dhruvin played a crucial role in investment banking, working with YES BANK, Lazard, and Investec India. His focus areas included mergers & acquisitions, private equity, and capital markets, particularly in sectors such as consumer, manufacturing, chemicals, and food & beverage. Notable transactions he contributed to include:

  • OmniActive’s investment by TA Associates – a major deal in the natural ingredients space.
  • Akay Natural Ingredients’ sale to Ottera – the world’s largest natural colors platform.

His experience in executing high-stakes deals sharpened his ability to evaluate businesses, structure investments, and create lasting financial imp.
